What I practise (commonly called Japanese Meridian Therapy), is not a style as such, but is actually 'Classical Acupuncture,' i.e. based on the Ancient Chinese Classic texts. WHAT IS MOXIBUSTION?Moxibustion has a number of techniques that involve the burning of a herb (mugwort) on acupoints or local areas. It has a powerful therapeutic effect on blood and can also disperse or add heat as needed. WHAT DOES CUPPING THERAPY DO?
WHAT DOES CUPPING THERAPY DO?The full name of the therapy is actually 'cup drawing', meaning that something causing a problem that is stuck deeper inside the body can be drawn up to the surface where it can disperse. This is commonly a deep bruise (which is what we often see after treatment), but can also be stagnant heat or fluids. HOW OFTEN SHOULD YOU BE TREATED AND HOW LONG DOES IT USUALLY TAKE FOR RESULTS?

Chronic problems are typically treated weekly. A number of factors determine the number of treatments that are required- how long you have had the problem, your age, is the problem genetic and is your lifestyle contributing to the problem. Results are sometimes surprisingly fast in some cases, even for chronic problems.
